South Florida Scene Endorses Kim Mollica for County Court Judge

Mollica, 53, started her legal career as an intern in the Dade County State Attorney's Office under Janet Reno. She went on to work for the Public Defender's Office in Martin County for several years before opening her own private practice in Broward in 1993.
"I've handled everything from misdemeanors to death penalty cases," said Mollica.
Her volunteer work is not glamorous, she said. Mollica spends time at hospitals visiting with elderly patients who don't have local family members.
"Broward County is my home," she said. "I went to law school to help people. I'm now at a point in my career where I want to give back to the community."
