Ft. Lauderdale, Crime And Safety meeting

Judge Jay Hurley & Commissioner Mayor Dean Trantalis 

The Fort Lauderdale Neighborhoods of Lake Ridge, Lauderdale Manors, Middle River Terrace and Middle River met for a outstanding evening of information, on our safety in the city, with speakers, First Appearance Judge, John "Jay" Hurley Commissioner Dean Trantalis and Chef Of Police  Frank Adderley to discuss crime and homeless concerns and solutions  

On Jan.27th, the Honorable John "Jay" Hurley addressed four Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations and business alliance ( Lake Ridge Civic Association; Middle River Terrace Association; South Middle Civic Terrace Association; Lauderdale Manors Civic Association and the 13th Street Alliance) ; also joining this meeting was Ft Laud Commissioners Dean Trantalis and Robert McKinzie. Along with Chief Frank Adderley and officers.

Despite the horrible inclement weather over 45 civic leaders and residents showed up and got a true education on Broward Judicial system. " It was truly enlightening to hear the first appearance Judge. John Hurley give a great synopsis of the system with true stories! It was awesome" said Michael A. Albetta, President of Lake Ridge Civic Association. He was welcomed by all.
